Prediction
This offseason has been odd for the Miami Dolphins. Yes, they still have Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but the team also made several moves this offseason which left fans and experts everywhere shaking their heads. Ultimately, they still have a strong nucleus of skill position players, with the question of health always remaining over them like a cloud.
If Tua, Tyreek and Waddle remain banged up, as they have the past few seasons, they will likely be on the outside looking in at double-digit wins, and a potential playoff berth. However, if they can stay healthy, there is a realistic way for them to reach 10 victories. The AFC East is paired with the NFC South, the NFL’s worst division in football, and the AFC North, one of the most difficult divisions in football. But the AFC East as a division is very top heavy with the Buffalo Bills being the odds-on favorites to win the division once again.
Either way you slice it, I don’t see the Dolphins being an easy out, but if this season goes south, which many people predict, it might be the end of the rope for Mike McDaniel and company in South Beach. I like the Dolphins to win 10 games, but miss out on the postseason due to tiebreakers.
