Former Ravens kicker Justin Tucker suspended 10 games in 2025

The NFL is in their dead season, the time of year when the news you hear is typically don’t want to hear any news. In other words, the news you hear in June and July tends to be of the negative variety.

That is certainly the case for former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, who was suspended for the first 10 games of the upcoming regular season for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

This per ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

If you are like me, you likely thought an appeal was on deck when the news was made official, but according to Justin Tucker’s representation, that might not be the case.

This is the statement from Justin Tucker’s representative Rob Roche:

“We are disappointed with the NFL’s decision. Justin has always strived to carry himself in a way that would make his family and community proud. He stands by his previous statements.  In order to put this difficult episode behind him and get back on the field as soon as possible, we have advised Justin to accept this resolution and close this matter. The people who know Justin best know his character and understand that while he remains fully committed to excellence as a football player, he is deeply dedicated to his most important lifetime roles as a father, husband, and friend.”

So, it seems as if Justin Tucker is going to accept the suspension, and is a free agent who can now sign with any team who might be interested. However, with a pending suspension on deck, there is a good chance Tucker remains unsigned until he is able to be acquired and actually play.

There are a lot of factors which still have yet to be decided, but with the Ravens moving on from Tucker, they have washed their hands of the placekicker moving forward. Likely more to come on this story as training camps start in the month of July.
