The 2025 NFL season is right around the corner and drafts are well underway around many fantasy leagues.
The kicker has become an important position week-to-week due to the accuracy and potential of each to put up points.
Below, check out the Top 10 kickers for the upcoming season.
Top Kickers to Watch
- Jake Bates, Detroit Lions: Bates remains at the top of the list due to the Lions’ potential to put up points along with his overall accuracy. Usage rates will be high once again. This is the perfect formula for a kicker.
- Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers: Dicker has become one of the most reliable kickers in the league. He has missed just three extra points in his career and has 16 field goals from 50+ yards over the last two years.
- Chase McLaughlin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: McLaughlin emerged as one of the top fantasy kickers in the league last season. The Bucs moved the ball up and down the field and this gave the kicker plenty of chances to succeed.
- Jason Sanders, Miami Dolphins: Sanders might be a question mark considering the current state of the Dolphins. If you believe this offense can still be effective, Sanders is a strong option.
- Brandon Aubrey, Dallas Cowboys: Aubrey might have the best leg in football. He has been lights out since entering the league. While he has not looked like the rookie version of himself, he is still among the league’s best. Aubrey missed seven field goals last season.
- Jake Elliott, Philadelphia Eagles: Elliott has bounced back from tough times in Philadelphia. He has been a staple for the Eagles and will be the top kicker once again.
- Tyler Bass, Buffalo Bills: Bass has become one of the most accurate kickers in football. The Bills are an explosive offense that find themselves in the red zone a lot over the course of games.
- Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs: Butker has fallen down the rankings in recent years but is still a starting-caliber kicker for many fantasy teams. The Chiefs can move up and down the field and put Butker within range while he is still elite from long range.
- Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers: Boswell has been a fantasy star and it is largely in part because the Steelers have been unable to score touchdowns. Will that change this season?
- Tyler Loop, Baltimore Ravens: No more Justin Tucker. Enter Loop and he has the chance to produce at a high rate as well within the Ravens offense.
