Fantasy Football Rankings: Top Quaterbacks for 2025

The 2025 NFL season is just weeks away and that means it is fantasy football season.

Many leagues are beginning to draft teams for the upcoming season. The quarterback remains one of the most interesting decisions an owner faces.

Should you take one early? Should you look for value in the mid to late rounds? There are many strategies when looking for your quarterback this season.

Below, take a look at the best quarterbacks for the upcoming season.

Top 10 Fantasy Quarterbacks

  1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: The reigning MVP is in for another big season. Allen has turned into arguably the best quarterback in football because of his size, athleticism, and ability to put up points in many ways. He is an early-round pick because of his dual-threat abilities.
  2. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: There are few quarterbacks who can put up game-changing fantasy points and Jackson is on the list. Last season, we saw Jackson take care of the football while using his arm more. This does not mean that he did not run the ball effectively. Jackson will compete for the MVP award once again and this makes him and elite fantasy option.
  3. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders: Daniels was the breakout star around the league last season. He rushed for over 800 yards to go with 25 passing touchdowns. This season, Daniels has a chance to be even better and this means elite fantasy production.
  4. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals: Despite not making the postseason, the Bengals’ offense was among the best in the league. Burrow led the NFL in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. Cincinnati paid both big-name receivers so Burrow has a plethora of weapons to work with. It will be another monster year for Burrow.
  5. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts does not jump off the page but he is in the perfect situation for his skillset in Philadelphia. He has the best cast of characters to work with offensively from receivers to offensive line. Hurts is also a candidate to rush for double-digit touchdowns, especially in goal-to-go situations. He is a strong fantasy options once again.
  6. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Mayfield turned into an elite fantasy quarterback last season. He has found a home in Tampa Bay and looks as comfortable as ever. Chris Godwin will start the season injured but the Bucs return Mike Evans along with other strong skill positions. The ball will be in Mayfield’s hands often during the season.
  7. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: The stock of Mahomes has fallen in fantasy in recent years but he is still one of the top options. He is now a value pick in the middle rounds. Despite the lack of skill positions in recent years, Mahomes has found ways to win games and put up impressive numbers.
  8. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals: Murray is one of the intriguing quarterbacks in the league. By no means is he a top-tier quarterback overall but in fantasy, his numbers can compete. This is because of his ability to use the ground game. If healthy, Murray has the dual-threat abilities to put up fantasy points.
  9. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos: Nix would not have been on this list at this point last year. He looked comfortable with Sean Payton during his rookie season and all of a sudden, the Broncos have their next franchise guy. The playbook will open up even more for Nix this season.
  10. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers: Herbert has struggled to win the big game but that does not impact his fantasy value. The Chargers have an elite offensive line and despite Jim Harbaugh leaning on the ground game, Herbert has continued to put up big numbers.
