Jerry Jones “Likes The Pain” Of Being The Cowboys’ GM
I truly do hate this man. Jerry Jones, who is the owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, may be one of the most stubborn old coots in the entire world. He’s that dangerous kind of “wealthy;” the kind where he knows he’s rich, and he will do whatever he wants regardless of what other people say.
He (in my opinion) is the absolute worst, and is holding the Cowboys hostage by being their GM. But when he was asked why he’s never hired anyone for the position, he (creepily) said…
Jerry Jones opened up about why he has never hired a general manager 👀
The Cowboys haven't made an NFC Championship since 1996 😳

“I like the pain.” This man is an absolute freak. That has to be one of the most disturbing sentences that I’ve ever heard that man say. With a face that resembles that of the ‘Crypt Keeper’ from “Tales of the Crypt,” his entire aura just SCREAMS “I don’t want to be around this guy.”
Jones, for those of you who may have forgotten, purchased “America’s Team” back in 1989 for $140 million. It was a significant purchase back in the day, as good ol’ JJ would help grow the organization to a $13 billion valuation today. He created a “winning culture” right off the bat in Dallas, winning three Super Bowls between 1993 and 1996.
But now? His most proud asset has turned into a pit of mediocrity. They have not made it to an NFC Championship game since 1995. The front office continues to screw up every major contract that comes due. And it’s all because of one man…..Jerry Jones.
Jerry Jones is the reason that this franchise is where it is today. He is a great business man, don’t get me wrong. But when it comes to running a professional football team? He doesn’t know which way is up. His business tactics from a bygone era have failed over and over again, and his team has suffered because of it.
Take the Micah Parsons’ situation, for instance. Jerry Jones could’ve kept a generational talent on his roster. He could’ve also worked a much better deal for the man if he was TRULY open to doing so. But he let his ego get the better of him with all of the reported “handshake deals” and whatnot. He turned the contract talks with Parsons’ camp into a complete dumpster fire, and backed himself into a corner when it came to moving the former Nittany Lion.
He has been nothing but a detriment to this organization. But sadly…….nothing’s going to change for Cowboy fans. They are going to be stuck with Jerry in charge until his final days on this earth, I’m sure of it. They will not see an NFC Championship game again. The Super Bowl will become a distant memory. They will just be stuck in a pit of mediocrity, and I……am going to love every second of it.
Try your best to enjoy the trip, Dallas faithful. Or if anything…..learn to enjoy the pain like you’re leader. But in the end, as always……what do I know? I’m just a guy from the Midwest, with a beer and a laptop, trying to make sense of this world.
